The staff was nice and friendly. Our waitress kept our drinks full and table clear of dirty plates. The pizza buffet was clean, with a nice variety of pizza to choose from.
This is the 2nd time this month that we went in at 12:00pm for the buffet and there is 2 pizzas on the buffet with more dessert ones than pizza. Asked the server if there was any pizza coming and she said yes but none ever came out. The restaurant had more than 20 people in there with very little pizza variety. The salad bar salad was pretty empty with wilted salad in it. Done with this Pizza Hut.
Being recently renovated is the only thing different about this Pizza Hut than the others I've eaten at or visited. However, they get five stars because we ate in and the pizza hot out of the oven vs on cardboard tastes so much better. I've forgot about how much better pizza tastes when it burns your mouth right from the oven. The trick to lessen the pain is to turn it over so the topping are on your tongue. The cold Bud light helped cool the burn. Wish they had more choices, but its hard to complain about drinking a ice cold beer with pizza. Service was fast. Pizza reminded me of how special eating pizza in, is. Will go back and eat in again, soon!
The food is five stars. Quite honestly, I prefer to take out rather than sit in the restaurant. I understand they're going to refurbish, but right now the tables are old and they're kind of tacky to the touch even when clean. Some of the kids staff really could use a bit more training. But most of the time we get it for takeout and the pizza is definitely excellent.
Unfortunately the new shine from their recent remodel hasn't taken with the staff...I went in for a buffet and was told by first the waitress and then the manager that they do not take requests for the buffet. Granted my request was a difficult one...Canadian Bacon...:) I didn't even care what crust... but they said it was against management policy to take requests.
